My name is Kim Davy and I grow gorgeous flowers.
I grow both landscape flower beds with many native perennials, as well as production beds for cutting. Hummingbirds and Bees are always in mind – with plantings that feed the birds year-round. My spaces are pollinator and wildlife-friendly. I avoid the use of pesticides and chemicals as much as possible.
Raised beds are utilized here, as the soil is heavy clay, with more beds being added each year. These are built using scrap or repurposed materials, such as heat-treated pallet-wood when available. I don’t yet have grow space where I can build hoop houses, but greenhouses are my dream once I can farm full-time and can lease some land.
I grow a wide variety of flowers, mostly from seeds started in my basement grow set-up. This is my 4th year growing, with lisianthus and zinnias being two of my favorites.
I have so many varieties of spring bulbs and blooms to look forward to in the New Year.
Changes are coming this year to the little market stand that can be found on Retsof Road. Fresh market bunches of cut flowers will be available each Saturday and Sunday beginning in May through October in 2024.
Special orders are always available. Shoot me an email or send me a text message!
